Fostering with us

Asked to describe fostering in five words, one of our current foster carers described the experience as: “Rewarding, Privileged, Fulfilling, Enlightening, and Enriching”

Being a foster carer is all of these things and more. It is an opportunity to make a real difference to a local child or young person by offering a safe, warm and happy family life, commitment and security.

As one of our fostered children puts it:

“Sometimes, all you need is an adult who actually understands you, will back you up when you are right, and tell you when you are wrong. What any child - or person - wants is to have a normal life, and my Foster Parents provide that normal life for me"
